umberto and maría alejandra share a passion for the twentieth century, music, design, books and art. this led them to work together and form a duo focused on 20th century and contemporary music, building their own aesthetics of sound and image and focusing (and blurring), from multiple perspectives. anamorphosis is an optical phenomenon; it is any painting or drawing that offers to the eye a deformed and confused image, or a regular and finished one, depending on the point of view. in the same way, from different angles, musical language can take on new meanings: this is the core of anamorfosi.
